Manfredi Cantine

The Manfredi family have been wine producers since 1863. The current family are keeping up with the times by converting their 20 hectare estate of Dolcetto into an organic vineyard, the windy hill of Bricco Rosso being an ideal site. The families other wines from the Gavi, Langhe and Alba region are typical of their areas and express the quality of the vineyards. Wine has been a passion in the family for over a century. It started with 2 generations ago, by Nicolao Manfredi (Aldo Manfredi’s great grandfather) at the beginning of the 20th century. However, it was Aldo’s father, Giuseppe, who transformed the family tradition of winemaking into an activity, when the love for the land of Langhe convinces him that this is his path.

In the 1960s, Aldo started working alongside his father, helping him with the work in the cellar and taking care of the deliveries. The friendship he made during that time continues to this day. In the 80s, new collaborations were established and the wines also conquered foreign markets, from the North America to Asia and all over Europe.

Today, Aldo and his wife, Gianfranca and daughters, Luisa and Paola, supported by their close-knitted relationship continue this activity with passion, with a common goal to produce quality products, protect the territory and the desire to continue this family story that was started many years ago.
