Szászi Badacsonyi Olaszrizling 2022

Grape Varietals & Region: 100% Olaszrizling, also known in the Carpathian Basin as Italian Riesling or Weiss Riesling. The Badacsonyi Italian Riesling is the estate's entry-level Italian Riesling, in the name of which Badacsony does not denote the mountain, but the wine region.

Taste Profile: Straw yellow in color, its aroma is dominated by watery stone, lime honey and grandma's apricot jam. Remarkably balanced wine, showing harmony and vibrance from beginning to finish

Winemaking Process: From the volcanic soils of Badacsony, fermented with natural yeast from organic grapes and produced with minimal human intervention

Bright & Mineral Whites

From the limestone character of Sancerre to the green, herbaceous Sauvignon Blanc of Marlborough, this style group often shows off cut grass and wet stone. Often associated with coastal regions or limestone based terroir, these wines are characterised with crisp acidity, mineraiity, citrus tones, with a hint of grassiness
