100% Tinta Negra. Grapes from various quality vineyards located in Estreito de Câmara de Lobos and São Vicente. Grapes were pressed in a pneumatic press. Arresting of fermentation takes place at the desired degree of sweetness by adding vinic alcohol (96%).
Light gold colour. Hints of apricot jam, tropical fruit, honey and caramel. Very smooth wine on the palate. Well balanced finish between the sweetness and the freshness left by the acidity. Excellent as a digestif, with smoked ham, cheese and dessert.
This wine achieves its unique characteristics by the estufagem process. It is then matured in oak casks for up to 3 years before blended and bottled.
