Paladin Salbanello IGP Veneto
Our go-to BBQ wine, M18 version of a kool-aid on a warm summer’s night. A bright red wine with a fresh vinous scent. It boasts pretty intense fruity notes of currants and raspberry, smooth and velvety finish.
To create this masterpiece, a combination of Malbec(in Italy?! I KNOW!) and Cabernet grapes are collected & the grapes are pressed. Keeping a good percentage of whole berries, the wine manages to obtain a pleasant fruity hint during fermentation. The grapes have been vinifed with 10-day maceration (what is Maceration?) to give the right color to the wine, while keeping the palate intact at temperatures of 22/24°C to not extract green tannins.
