Brunello di Montalcino wines are made with Italy’s highest DOCG classification from an uncontaminated landscape and unique terroir that is listed as a UNESCO heritage site. Wine critics tend to cite sangiovese wines as the best in all of Italy and the Mocali estate is well-known for producing delicious, ripe and balanced Brunello. This is a wine you want to know and try at least once in your life.
Aromas of raspberry and dark cherry jam are backed up by heady notes of earthy spice, leather, tobacco and chocolate. A perfect mix of ripe fruit notes, clove and raspy tannins on a firm palate. The soft and full mouthfeel ends with a persistent, lingering finish.
100% Sangiovese grosso from a vineyard located 350m above sea level with a soil composition of marly and limestone. Alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel tanks. Aged for 1 year in large slavonian oak casks and 2 years in french oak.
