Arzuaga Navarro Crianza 2018
The Arzuaga Navarro Crianza has a clean and bright cherry red shade. The nose is powerful with highly aromatic density with predominance of ripe red fruits, spicy touches and balsamic notes with a smoky finish. The mouth is soft with sweet sensations that last over time. These connotations give elegance and personality to the wine.
A blend of 94% Tempranillo and 6% Cabernet Sauvignon varieties. The grapes are from the oldest part of the La Planta estate; cultivated at 911m of altitude in clay-calcareous soils with limestone bedrock. The harvest is done manually and grapes undergo table selection in the cellar. Regarding the development, after stripping, the juice goes to stainless steel tanks to be macerated. Subsequently, an alcoholic fermentation takes place very slowly at a controlled temperature of 27 °C. Finally, Arzuaga Crianza is aged for 16 months in French ad American oak barrels.
