Rhen Dodd and Janelle De Gabriele make invigorating wines under the aptly named ‘Ephemera’ moniker. Based out of the Yarra Valley, together they explore ‘snapshot’ winemaking. They focus their energies on their organically grown vineyard in the Yarra and are also affiliated with the Chalmers vineyard in Heathcote, which they have much love for.



With Italian varieties coming out of Heathcote and the other half on their home block, Rhen and Janelle are producing compelling and addictive wines as they further define their Ephemera identity.
