Casa Girelli is a historic Italian company founded by a family from Verona in the late 1800s. From one generation to the next, the business of vintners and winemakers took the family to Trento, where they established their existing company in 1966. After the Second World War, Casa Girelli started increasing its production by seeking the best vineyards in Italy and travelling the world to explore new markets.

Today Casa Girelli produces wines of excellence with grapes sourced from vineyards selected among the best in Italy. Over 50 countries,130 different labels from 35 different grape varieties for 20 Italian controlled appellation wines.

Although wine is timeless, it develops over time, just as human beings do. Villalta is a tasting of the finest wine-making traditions of the Verona area. People who enjoy Villalta’s red wine can’t help but feel romantic, reminiscing about Romeo’s famous declaration to Juliet on the balcony of her home in Verona.

Villata’s wine is truly a declaration of passion, care and love for these grapes and land, tasted and felt in every glass. Like the winery’s signature Amarone, made from a blend of Corvina, Rondinella and Molinara grapes from the classic area of Valpolicella. For an encore of flavor, high on the list is the Ripasso, a Corvina and Rondinella blend.
